Published 18 Jun,2021 via The Nation - No fewer than 1,000 farmers in the North are set to be trained in dairy farming, courtesy of Arla Foods, makers of Dano Milk.
The firm will build a state-of-the-art commercial dairy farm in Kaduna State and will support farmers as part of its long term commitment to increasing local food production.
The 200-hectare farm, scheduled to open in 2022, will have housing for 400 dairy cows, modern milking parlours and technology, grasslands and living facilities for 25 employees.
