Brunei bars citizens, residents from leaving as new COVID-19 cases spike
Brunei has restricted citizens and residents from leaving the country as it saw a spike of 10 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Mar 15, taking the total tally to 50.
The restriction will start Mar 16, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health on Sunday (Mar 15).
Seven of the new cases are linked to a religious event in Kuala Lumpur that also saw two Singaporean congregants contract the virus.
