Published 13 Feb,2021 via The Jordan Times AMMAN — Commercial activity on Friday increased by more than 50 per cent due to the active domestic tourism, representative of the foodstuff sector in the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Raed Hamadah said on Saturday.
Hamadah said that demand on restaurants, poultry and groceries confirms the need to encourage domestic tourism to support the trade and service sectors, which have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Jordan News Agency, Petra, reported.
He added that restaurants, groceries and sweet shops “cannot bear any new closures or procedures that hinder their work," calling on various commercial and service sectors to completely adhere to applicable health measures.
