Published 24 Oct,2021 via The Jordan Times - The National Society of Consumer Protection (NSCP) called on the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply to engage the related bodies in the issue of increasing food prices in budget-friendly and non-tourist restaurants.
The NSCP said that the move will affect the middle- and low-income segment of the population.
The society's calls came after emergence of reports related to increasing the food price in the popular restaurants “without conducting studies”.
