A subsidiary of Malaysian firm Notion VTec is eyeing the export of its face masks and N95 respirator.
Notion Venture Sdn Bhd said in a bourse filing on July 30 that it became registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on July 27 for face masks for use by the general public and healthcare personnel.
The company also said it is submitting samples of its N95 respirator to an external laboratory. Results of the tests will be forwarded to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health for approval. If approved, the company will be able to export its N95 respirator.
