Medical Tourism World Summit highlights Jordan’s ‘unique medical network’
Published 17 Oct,2021 via The Jordan Times - The sixth Medical Tourism World Summit, Conference and Expo 2021, kicked off on Sunday.
During the ceremony, attended by Tourism Minister Nayef Fayez, President of the Jordan Hotel Association (JHA) Abdel Hakim Al Hindi briefed the gathering on a tourism and hospitality programme meant to improve medical tourism, according to a Tourism Ministry statement.
Citing hotels’ adherence to health protocols, he highlighted the Kingdom’s status as a medical tourism destination. He also highlighted “Jordan’s climate diversity, hot water, volcanic mud, therapeutic resources and physiotherapy resources across the country”.
