Oman bans import of fish from Italy, poultry from Mali


Published 23 May,2021 via Muscat Daily - H E Dr Saud bin Hamoud bin Ahmed al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, issued Ministerial Decision No 63/2021 banning the import of live fish, their products and derivatives from the Republic of Italy.

H E Dr Habsi also issued a decision to ban the import of live birds, their products, derivatives and residues from the Republic of Mali.

The two decisions will be enforced until the reason for the ban is removed, and new decisions will be issued in this regard. The decision on the live fish was issued on May 16 and took effect from the date of its issuance.
