Saudi Arabia launches digital identity service for Hajj pilgrims
Saudi Arabia has introduced a digital identity service for Hajj pilgrims arriving in the kingdom this year.
The service, launched by the kingdom’s interior ministry, allows the pilgrims to electronically verify their identity through the Absher and Tawakkalna platforms to streamline their journeys.
The initiative, is part of the government's commitment to promote digital transformation, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, state-run Saudi Press Agency reported.
