Saudi Arabia raises minimum wages of 'Nitaqat' employees


Published 18 Nov,2020 via Asharq Alawsat (English Edition) - Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Human Resource and Social Development (HRSD) issued a decree on Wednesday raising the minimum wages of Saudi employees.

Minister Ahmed bin Suleiman Al-Rajhi made the announcement saying that the minimum wages paid to Saudi citizens employed under the “Nitaqat” employment system was raised to SAR 4,000 from SAR 3,000.

The decision includes Saudi students who reside in the kingdom and have a regular part-time job.
