Saudi Arabia, the Arab world's largest economy, leads the world in terms of dates exports, totalling $341.5 million in value.
Israel runs it close, with $330.1 million in dates export value. While the kingdom is one of the world's top dates producing spots, Israel is not.
Surprisingly, Egypt, the world's largest producer of dates, exports just under 5% of its produce globally.
