Trade fair Halal Hannover has been postponed due to fears over the outbreak of COVID-19, organiser Deutsche Messe said in a statement on Tuesday (Mar 3).
"The Hannover Region Health Authority has strongly advised Deutsche Messe AG to follow the advice of the Robert Koch Institute. These include comprehensive measures for health protection when organizing events," said the organiser.
The Robert Koch Institute is Germany's public health institute.
