UAE embeds AI literacy into national strategy to drive workforce development and economic competitiveness: Coursera report
The UAE, which has developed one of the region’s most comprehensive and action-oriented AI frameworks, is embedding AI literacy into its national roadmap to support economic competitiveness, workforce upskilling, and responsible AI adoption, according to a new report from Coursera.
Initiatives such as the National AI Strategy 2031 and the UAE AI Charter, which identifies increasing public awareness and education about artificial intelligence as a primary objective, underscore the country’s advanced regulatory maturity and readiness.
The report, Navigating GCC AI Regulation: A Playbook for Building an AI-Literate & Compliant Workforce, examines the regulatory landscape in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
