UAE launches food security project to train youth to become agriculture entrepreneurs


The United Arab Emirates' Ministry of Climate Change and Environment announced on Monday (June 14) a food security project targeting the country’s youth.

The Youth Food Security Stations will train young people in agricultural systems to become entrepreneurs in animal and crop agriculture, beekeeping, and aquaculture.  

The ministry said the project runs in collaboration with the National and Reserve Service Authority, the government body that oversees matters relating to national service, which is compulsory for all male citizens aged between 18 and 30.
