Qatar Development Bank (QDB) is the Qatari government’s development bank that supports investment in local industries and accelerates economic diversification in Qatar. in 2024 QDB launched the Startup Qatar Investment Program to attract tech startups to establish or expand their operations in the country. The program offers funding for seed-stage companies (up to USD 500,000) and growth-stage companies (up to USD 5 million), along with incentives and support services, including licensing, R&D grants, skills and training programs, and business operations support. Priority sectors include climate tech, agrotech, B2B SaaS, energy tech, health, fintech, marketplaces, edtech, and more.
