Top 30 OIC Halal Products Companies 2023

Salaam Gateway, in partnership with DinarStandard, has released its first-ever OIC-based halal products companies list. The rankings feature a rich mix of 30 enterprises that have dominated their domestic markets and are well-placed to champion halal market strategies. Of the listed companies, 15 are halal food firms, 10 operate in the pharmaceuticals vertical, and five are from the cosmetics space.

Methodology

The Top 30 OIC Halal Products Companies 2023 is produced by DinarStandard based on a composition of constituent parts of the halal products sectors - halal food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, domiciled in 57 member countries of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation). The rankings selected top 15 companies from the food vertical, 10 from pharmaceuticals, and 5 from the cosmetics space, reflecting the proportionate market size and diversity of halal products. The ranking evaluated companies from the OIC based on the following criteria:

  • Company annual revenues (available or estimated)
  • 'Halal' market focus as evaluated by keyword on company website, or announced 'halal' initiatives
  • Number of OIC countries exported to
