Bangladesh's Islamic Foundation releases schedule for Seheri, Iftar


Published 21 Mar,2021 via The Financial Express - The Islamic Foundation has released the schedule for Sehri and Iftar for Muslim devotees during holy month of Ramadan, according to a statement issued on Sunday.

Depending on the sighting of the moon, the holy month of Ramadan is expected to begin on April 14 or 15.

The foundation has prepared a schedule for Sehri and Iftar from April 14 at the start of Ramadan, as per the statement.

On March 13, the Islamic Foundation finalised the timings for Sehri and Iftar for the month of Ramadan.

According to the schedule, the last time of Sehri in Dhaka on April 14 is fixed 4:15 am in the morning and the timing of Iftar is 6:23 pm for the first Ramadan.

However, according to the distance people in different parts of the country will observe Sehri and Iftar by adding up to 11 minutes and subtracting up to 10 minutes in line with Dhaka's timing, the Islamic Foundation said.
