Dubai’s DIFC starts free-to-access training platform for sustainable, responsible investing
The Dubai International Financial Centre has partnered with Candriam Academy to start a free-to-access training platform for sustainable and responsible investing.
Candriam Academy will start with eight modules accredited by the Dubai Legal Affairs Department, DIFC said in a statement on Tuesday (Jan 12).
Candriam is a global multi-asset manager that holds around $144 billion of assets under management. It manages more than $50 billion in pure ESG funds and mandates, said the statement.
The Candriam Academy that started in 2017 is a platform that is open to all.
The global sustainable and responsible investing market is showing sustained growth. Bloomberg reported on Monday (Jan 11) the world’s sustainable debt market grew 29% to a record $732 billion in 2020, propped up by a boom of bond issuance for social projects.
