Muslims account for around $1.128 trillion, or 17 percent of global spending on food and beverages. One area of halal F&B that is still in its infancy and offers significant growth potential is baby food. With global
baby food and formula sales estimated at $30 billion in 2015, according to Nielsen, the halal baby food segment could become a $5.1 billion sector if it follows similar (17 percent) growth and spending as global F&B.
