Hotels in Egypt's coastal city Hurghada expect over 85% occupancy during Eid al Adha: industry body
Published 25 Jul,2020 via Daily News Egypt - Hotels in Red Sea’s Hurghada city are expecting high occupancy rates of over 85% during the Muslim Eid Al-Adha holiday falling on 31 August, according to Alaa Akel, Chairperson of the Egyptian Hotels Association (EHA) in the Red Sea.
Talking to Daily News Egypt, Akel said the current occupancy rates at most Red Sea hotels range between 80% and 100% at weekends, with an average of 85%.
He also told DNE that the majority of hotel visitors come from the local market with the dominant nationality being Egyptian.
