How many Islamic fintech services are there in the world and who are they?

There are 241 Islamic fintech services around the world, according to the Global Islamic Fintech Report 2021. 

The report from DinarStandard--Salaam Gateway's parent company--and UK-based Elipses, categorises the services according to three broad buckets: Give and Protect, Save and Invest, and Finance.

Finance is the biggest bucket, with 44 services identified for raising funds, 37 for payments, 2 for capital markets, 20 for digital assets, and 32 for alternative finance.

Under Save and Invest, deposits and lending is the biggest category, comprising 40 services, followed by 32 for wealth management.

Finally, under Give and Protect, 12 services are identified under social finance and 6 for insurance.
