HSBC Amanah Malaysia names new CEO
HSBC Amanah Malaysia has named Raja Amir Shah Raja Azwa as its new chief executive officer.
Raja Amir was previously HSBC Malaysia’s debt capital markets director and country head, the bank said in a statement on Monday (May 24).
HSBC said that apart from leading the Islamic bank, he will also play a key role in driving sustainable leadership and value-based intermediation efforts.
Raja Amir replaces Arsalaan Ahmed who joined in 2016 and left to join Al Rajhi Malaysia in February this year.
