Hadiyanto said the masterplan will be put forward by the National Development Agency (Bappenas), which will also be releasing a separate document outlining a new national Islamic finance committee.

Details of two other initiatives will also be launched at WIEF, said Hadiyanto. We will launch the Masterplan for Indonesian Islamic Financial Architecture that will accelerate Shariah financing for infrastructure improvement, bridge the funding gap, and open new regional and global market lines to meet the target of Indonesia to become a significant player in global Islamic finance,” Hadiyanto told Salaam Gateway.
