Islamic fintech dominates venture capital investments
Venture capital (VC) firms have played a pivotal role in furthering the global Islamic digital economy, supporting innovative startups that cater to the needs of Muslim consumers globally.
VC investments are predominantly concentrated in Islamic fintech, which comprises 50.89% of total investment allocation, according to research conducted by DinarStandard and SalaamGateway. Nearly 170 deals worth $733.6million were recorded in the global Islamic digital economy in 2024.
