Last-minute staycations to book in the UAE this Eid
If you’ve left your Eid Al-Fitr vacation planning until the very last minute, fret not, there’s still time! Here’s our pick of UAE staycation deals this holiday season.
FUN DAY OUT
Dubai’s Address Hotels and Resorts is offering an Eid special for those who stay between 25 and 28 June 2017. Guests can take advantage of 10 per cent off, as well as a complimentary daily buffet breakfast.
What’s more, if you book at the Address Dubai Marina for a minimum of three nights, you’ll receive free tickets to Dubai Parks and Resorts, a spectacular theme park featuring Motiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks, Legoland Dubai (and water park) and Riverland Dubai.
ARABIAN EXPERIENCE
Downtown Dubai’s Manzil hotel is the perfect home away from home, slap bang in the middle of the emirate. Offering easy access to the Dubai Opera, Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall, this staycation option is ideal if you are expecting visitors.
Here, guests booking between 25-28 June can take advantage of 10 per cent off the best available rate, as well as a free buffet breakfast.
A word of warning though; The Dubai Mall is expected to welcome around 300,000 visitors this Eid, so don’t bother driving down.
BEACH TIME
Yes, you might think we're mad for recommending a beach resort in this 40-degree weather, but rather than lounge around and top up your tan, why not go for some watersports action instead?
The Westin Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina’s summer offer (valid until 31 August) includes a night’s stay in a luxury room and 50% off all food and beverage options, spa treatments and watersports experiences, starting from just AED 630.
ESCAPE TO THE MOUNTAINS
Having just undergone a renovation, the JA Hatta Fort Hotel is celebrating by offering visitors up to 30 per cent off rooms and 20 per cent off food and drink.
Located in the Hajar Mountains, the views along the way to the resort are worth the drive alone.
There’s plenty to see and do here; apart from the cool pool, other activities available on site include tennis, mini-golf, archery and kayaking.
RAK CITY
If you’ve never been to Ras Al Khaimah before then you are definitely missing out. Dating back over 5000 years, the emirate offers a landscape of stunning mountains and spectacular beaches.
At the gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, there’s 20% to be enjoyed off the best available rate, as well as free breakfast and dinner, and unlimited access to the resort’s beachfront, swimming pools, spa and children’s club. Prices start from AED 1,020.
Feeling adventurous? Try the recently opened Via Ferrata, the Middle East’s first zip wire from the mountain peak of Jebel Jais.
LIFE OF LUXURY
And finally, leaving the most splurge-worthy experience to last, the mighty luxurious and VIP Burj Al Arab has a special Eid Al Fitr special for UAE nationals and residents.
Not only is there 25 per cent off the best available suite rates (offering panoramic views of the Arabian gulf), guests can also take advantage of a daily free breakfast, access to the exclusive Burj Al Arab Terrace – which features two pools, dedicated butler-serviced cabanas, and a beach area – daily free evening hors d’oeuvres and beverages, luxurious full-size Hermes amenities, a private in-room 21” Mac, unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark and free access to Talise Spa and Summersalt Beach Club, Jumeirah Al Naseem. Wowser.
