Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show: Celebration of modest fashion in Istanbul
The Halal Expo event has been held for 11 consecutive years in Istanbul and has been known as the world's leading Muslim lifestyle event.
The event, which is attended by 500 exhibitors from 50 countries, is always held in conjunction with the World Halal Summit and is an event fully supported by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
In 2024, Halal Expo is collaborating with #Markamarie, a modest fashion aggregator to hold the Modest Fashion segment at the Halal Expo, entitled Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show.
#Markamarie led by fashion activists Franka Soeria and Ismail Semin, brings a number of brands from Indonesia, Turkey, Germany, Russia, Jordan and Hong Kong to participate in the event held on November 27-30 at the IFM Istanbul Expo Center.
The events held include fashion shows, booths, talk shows and awards.
The show presents modest fashion brands with a touch of art, both cultural and contemporary. This event is supported by Discover Events, Council of Modest Fashion and PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) Persero.
The brands that participated include Meriem Lebdiri, Marga Modest Fashion, PT KAI Persero presents: Yearn Handmade & Imah Batik Bandung, Taqeeya by Enggar, Al Tatari, DKI Presents: Batik Chic, Santoon & Maria Irene, Kayana by Tya Oza, Mustafa Dikmen, UNNY Mkabau, SesaKaia, Tenun Darla, Online FC, Chalinda by Ika Butoni, NOIE Studios, Melopotamia, Yodizein, Ebru Kılıçarslan, Muay Collection and many more.

The Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show event is supported by PT KAI.

Yearn Handmade and Imah Batik Bandung are among the brands that received good feedback from buyers at this event. So are Kayana by Tya Oza and Taqeeya by Enggar.
The fashion show was held magnificently, displaying various styles of simple clothing with a touch of art from various countries.
From abayas, top and bottom sets, outerwear to accessories, they appeared stunning in front of hundreds of international audiences.
Visitors can also enjoy various talk shows supported by the Council of Modest Fashion with topics such as How to Build a Brand, Selling Creativity in Fashion to Sociopreneur: Fashion with A Cause.
The Awarding Session supported by the World Halal Summit was held to appreciate the work of the participants from various perspectives; creativity, products, backgrounds to their career journeys.
#Markamarie hopes that the Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show and other upcoming modest fashion events can unite modest fashion actors better in the future.
