Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show Jakarta Mini Edition at Halal Indo 2025 by #MARKAMARIE
The Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show Jakarta Mini Edition, organized by #Markamarie in collaboration with Dyandra Promosindo and supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, and Halal Indonesia, took place in September 25-28, 2025, at ICE BSD, Tangerang, as part of Halal Indo 2025.
This event is a continuation of the annual Modest Fashion & Art Trade Show held in Istanbul alongside Halal Expo Istanbul under the patronage of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The event features fashion shows, talk shows, and exhibition booths from four countries, showcasing the potential of the global modest fashion industry.
Modest fashion is the fastest-growing clothing segment, with Muslim consumer spending reaching $327 billion in 2023 and projected to reach $433 billion by 2028.
Indonesia, a hub for modest fashion, contributed $8.86 billion in exports in 2024.
Fashion show with diverse style
The fashion show on September 25, 2025, will feature collections from eight renowned brands: AEKO (United Arab Emirates), Wiranti Kurnia, Selhaya (UK), Restu Pratiwi, Floriana by Elham, Dea Textile, White Corner (Turkiye) and Frisma Exclusive.
The showcased collections include dresses, abayas, and top-bottom sets made from high-quality materials such as sustainable fabric, linen, satin, and silk.
Each brand has its unique appeal:
• AEKO and Selhaya present elegant modern abayas. Selhaya is an award-winning luxury premium abaya brand featured in British Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Tatler. AEKO is
owned by Adna (@kingedna_ on Instagram) with over 200,000 followers.
• Wiranti Kurnia offers wedding and party dresses favored by Indonesian celebrities and VVIPs.
• Dea Textile and Floriana by Elham highlight feminine styles with premium textiles.
• White Corner from Turkiye (with over 800.000 followers) and now has branch in Indonesia offers elegant sets for career women.
• Frisma Exclusive showcases distinctive Minang ethnic touches.
• Restu Pratiwi, who has performed in front of Turkiye’s First Lady Emine Erdogan, introduces trendy casual denim styles.
Inspirational talk show
The talk show features five speakers: Adna Al Geljiira (AEKO), Aisha Hossain (Selhaya), Wiranti Kurnia, Liha Matta (Sily The Brand), and Kneysa Sastrawijaya (White Corner).
They share insights on developing modest fashion brands, global trends, and industry opportunities.
