Rihaala.com puts Tunisia back on the tourism map as first Muslim travel specialist to feature packages to popular Nth African destination
London, United Kingdom, January 8th, 2020: Rihaala.com and sister company Serendipity Tailormade are playing a major role in putting Tunisia back on the tourism map in 2020 as the first Muslim travel specialists to feature holiday packages to the North African destination.
The halal-friendly Online Travel Agency and tour operator have teamed up with five hotels, resorts and beach clubs in the popular resorts of Monastir, Hammamet and Sousse to reinvent their guest offering to cater to Muslim travellers; features only available when booked through Rihaala or Serendipity Tailormade. Muslim friendly facilities include a modest swimwear beach, alcohol-free outlets, an indoor pool for family use and more.
With competitively priced all-inclusive packages including flights and accommodation now live and available to consumers and travel agents, Rihaala.com and Serendipity Tailormade founder, Nabeel Shariff, says Tunisia is a great alternative to Turkey as a destination offering value for money and strong Muslim traveller appeal.
“With its beautiful sandy beaches, friendly people, superb resorts and favourable exchange rate, Tunisia has a lot to offer the UK’s Muslim and family travel markets and with new air services being launched, including easyJet flights to Hammamet, there has never been a better time to visit,” he said.
“By offering attractive holiday packages tailored to this lucrative segment, we not only hope to reinvigorate the destination’s tourism industry after a tough few years, but establish Tunisia as a halal-friendly holiday hotspot to rival stalwarts like Turkey, introducing Muslim travellers to a new and exciting travel experience.”
Rihaala.com and Serendipity Tailormade are working on an exclusive basis to the Muslim market with the One Resort Aquapark in Monastir; The Orangers Villas and Bungalows and The Orangers Beach Club in Hammamet; and The Marhaba Club Resort and The Pearl Resort & Spa in Sousse, with all five properties reimagining their facilities and services to make Muslim travellers feel more comfortable during their stay.
For Summer 2020, One Resort Aquapark will creating an offering it has dubbed the ‘Rihaala Wing’, featuring a modest swimwear beach, dedicated alcohol-free beach bar and an indoor pool for family use. The other properties will offer similar benefits to guests who book through the Muslim-friendly travel specialists or its trade partners.
Packages lead in at £599 per person or £2,394 for two adults and two children inclusive of return direct flights on a seven-night all-inclusive basis.
Rihaala.com and Serendipity Tailormade have also launched a social media campaign with the hashtag #ihearttunisia in support of industry efforts to get Tunisia back on track following a period of adversity, exacerbated by last year’s Thomas Cook collapse, which thwarted UK and European tourism to the destination.
