Saudi health ministry follows up on pilgrims in home isolation after hajj
Published 03 Aug,2020 via Asharq Alawsat (English Edition) - The Hajj pilgrims completed on Sunday the holy rituals and have since departed the holy city of Makkah amid tight health measures to protect them from the novel coronavirus.
Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Abdul Fattah al-Mashat told Asharq Al-Awsat that the pilgrims departed Makkah to their homes where they will self-isolate. They were tested for the virus ahead of their departure.
The Health Ministry will follow up on the pilgrims during their time in isolation. It will contact each of the pilgrims regardless of their location inside the Kingdom.
