Shaza Hotels forges alliance with Halalbooking in halal tourism push
Hotel operator Shaza Hotels has signed an agreement with online booking platform Halalbooking to promote halal tourism.
The brand-wide global agreement aims to establish unified pricing and global distribution for all Shaza and Mysk hotels across Halalbooking’s network, the company said in a statement.
Shaji Abu Salih, vice president business development at Shaza Hotels said that the Halalbooking platform provides access to halal-conscious travellers who are the brand’s direct consumers.
“As we transition from a regional brand to a global brand with properties in the US, Asia, and beyond, collaborations like this are integral to our growth strategy.”
Shaza aims to expand its portfolio beyond the GCC region, with developments in the US, Turkiye, Egypt and Levant.
Shaza operates properties across Saudi cities of Makkah, Riyadh and Madinah, as well as in Doha and Muscat. It plans to open properties in Bahrain, Medinah, Jeddah, Muscat and Orlando.
