Top 10 digital Islamic economies globally
Indonesia operates the world’s largest digital Islamic economy, worth $40.57 billion in 2022.
The US came in at a distant second, with $25.5 billion, followed by China ($22.8 billion), Turkiye ($20 billion) and Saudi Arabia ($14.9 billion), the Indonesia Digital Islamic Economy Report 2023/24, revealed.
Iran ranked sixth with a digital Islamic economy worth $12.4 billion, ahead of the UAE ($9.4 billion), UK ($9 billion) and India ($8.6 billion). Egypt rounded off the top ten, raking in $8.4 billion.
