UAE halts entry for residence visa holders due to spread of coronavirus
The United Arab Emirates on Thursday halted entry of all residents with valid visas to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Residents with valid visas who are currently out of the country are advised to contact the UAE diplomatic missions in their respective nations for support.
In a statement on Wednesday (Mar 18), the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship said the decision comes as part of the preventive and precautionary measures taken to contain the spread of COVID-19.
