UAE resumes tourist visas
The United Arab Emirates resumed the issuing of tourist visas on Thursday (September 24) in a move to support recovery plans of the country's tourism sector.
All emirates except Dubai suspended tourist visas in March as part of efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dubai reopened to tourists in July.
All travellers to the UAE must take a PCR swab test before boarding their flights at their country of departure.
However, safety and health precautionary procedures are not the same for each emirate.
UAE's Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship said work prmits are still on hold.
