What are the food items OIC countries import the most?
The 57-member countries of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) imported an estimated $190 billion in food and beverages in 2015. 78 percent of this is from non-OIC countries.
Imports actually account for only 15.9 percent of total consumer expenditure on food and beverages across all OIC countries, which implies that 84.1 percent of F&B is produced domestically.
