What is the GDP contribution of the 57 Organisation of Islamic Cooperation countries?
The 57-member states and territories of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) contributed around $6.425 trillion to the world's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2016, according to data from the World Bank.
This is equivalent to 8.51 percent of the world's GDP.
The OIC countries with the ten highest GDPs are Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan and Bangladesh, in descending order.
