Driven by a need to fill critical gaps in the United Kingdom food retail sector, ieat Foods founder Shazia Saleem went for broke and headed directly to the big supermarkets instead of small independent stores to sell her and the UK's first- ever range of halal-certified ready meals. Today, three years later, ieat Foods is available across 300 retail outlets in the four big supermarkets across the UK as well as 50 stores in Europe and the Middle East, predominantly in the GCC.
