Published 31 Oct,2021 via Daily News Egypt - Bosta, a leading e-commerce logistics startup in Egypt launched the “Bosta Clinic” initiative to support e-commerce and serve startups as well as small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Mohamed Ezzat, co-founder and CEO of Bosta, said: “We are proud to launch the “Bosta Clinic” platform to serve SMEs and support the country’s move towards digital transformation and revitalization of e-commerce.”
Ezzat added that after conducting research and surveys with more than 3,000 merchants of different sizes annually, research showed that there is a large gap in the market due to the lack of reliable resources and information in the field of e-commerce.
Consequently, many SMEs, especially in the field of e-commerce, lost a real opportunity for growth due to the lack of information and expertise.
He continued, “a need for providing a space for sharing of experiences to support the growth of e-commerce emerged, which prompted us to bring this initiative to life.”
He explained that the platform is available to anyone interested in e-commerce, whether he already owns a company or is still studying the market. He stressed that the “Bosta Clinic” platform will provide an opportunity for small companies to gain knowledge in addition to gaining a huge network of contacts with influential people in the same market.
On the other hand, Shehab El-Din Gomma, Marketing Manager at Bosta, stated that the initiative is not intended only for Bosta’s customers, but for everyone who may be interested in e-commerce.
He added that the initiative aims to support and guide more than 400 start-ups in the initial phase in five main challenges: sales, marketing, pricing mechanisms, and accounting.
Gomma indicated that the first phase of the initiative is designed to facilitate the process of entering the e-commerce market and maintaining a presence in the most difficult markets in the Middle East and North Africa.
