MIHAS 2026, the 22nd Malaysia International Halal Showcase, concluded on September 26 with $1.66 billion (RM6.78 billion) in reported sales value across its exhibition and trade-matching programmes, a 12% increase on the $1.48 billion (RM6.05 billion) recorded in 2025 and about 35.6% above the event's $1.23 billion (RM5 billion) target.
The four-day showcase, held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur from September 23 to 26, attracted 69,104 visitors from 93 countries — a 37.3% rise on the 50,340 who attended in 2025 and the highest attendance recorded since MIHAS began in 2004. Exhibitors and International Sourcing Programme buyers came from 58 countries.
